Found Animal

HELP!….I found an animal…Now What ?

The first thing you should do is ask yourself several questions.

1. Is the baby bleeding?
2. Is it obviously injured?
3. Does it appear limp or listless?
4. Are there visible wounds, broken bones or has it been in a dog or cat’s mouth?

If you answered YES to any of these questions,  contact the nearest licensed wildlife rehabilitation group for instructions on how to get the animal to them immediately.

If you found a baby bird, baby squirrel, baby raccoon or baby rabbit click on the pictures below for more information on what to do.
